White had the largest percent of student body in Enterprise School District schools in 2021-22 school year

White students made up 88.6% of the 933 students enrolled in Enterprise School District schools during the 2021-22 school year, making them the most represented ethnicity, according to the Mississippi Department of Education.

This is a 1.7% increase over the previous school year.

Enterprise Elementary School had the highest enrollment in the district with 377 students.

A snapshot of Enterprise School District schools showed 88.6% of students were white and 8.7% Black.

Enterprise School District roughly covers three schools within Clarke County and has a main office in Enterprise.

Mississippi has continually struggled with public education. The most recent Report Card on American Education, from a right-leaning think tank, gave the state a C-. This is consistent with ratings stretching back nearly a decade.

The nonpartisan Education Week also ranked Mississippi schools as C- in their most recent analysis.
